My company is getting ready to setup a call center in India. We were wondering if the country of India requires employers to provide health insurance? I am almost positive that it is not mandatory to do so.

As India is the largest growing economy in the world, so it needs the business insurance in every field of business but I don't think there is any such insurance company in India registered with Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority(IRDA) of India.
Anyway, if it is any other financial services company then is not the agent helping in making the claim ? If not contact one of the offices of the company.
